Moon’s Seafood Company was founded in fall 1985. The company was set up to explore every viable path to buy and produce high-quality seafood and sell it with the highest ethical standards-- with no unpleasant surprises. Over the years Moon’s Seafood has operated a retail market, a fish dock and managed boats, a wholesale distribution center and active trading company. This broad base of experience gives Moon’s Seafood Company a depth of knowledge in the seafood industry few can match.
Moon’s Seafood Company is entering into its second year of partnership with Wood’s Fisheries. This gives Moon’s Seafood Company the ability to deliver the highest quality of wild-caught American shrimp. Wood’s Fisheries is one of the pilot plants for the Certified Wild American Shrimp Campaign.
This campaign is the most successful nationwide campaign to upgrade both the quality and image of domestic shrimp. Moon’s Seafood is excited and proud to be a part of that effort.
